Process of Steel Making Video from Start to Finish

Steel manufacturing transforms iron ore and recycled scrap metal into structural and engineering-grade steel alloys through advanced metallurgical processes. Primary steelmaking involves reducing iron ore in a blast furnace into liquid pig iron, followed by decarburization in a Basic Oxygen Furnace (BOF) or melting recycled scrap in an Electric Arc Furnace (EAF). The molten steel then undergoes secondary metallurgy (ladle refining, degassing, and precise alloying) before continuous casting into semi-finished shapes (billets, blooms, and slabs) for subsequent hot and cold rolling.
